Autumn Luxe: Green Midi Skirt

Skirt: Choies, Top: Ebay, Heels: Windsor Smith

I have never been more pleased with an impulse buy than when I picked up this green satin midi skirt from Choies! It caught my eye, I added it to the cart and then went "Who did that, not me" and checked out and went back to work. When it showed up I knew I hadn't made a mistake, it is gorgeous, flattering and over the top in all the right ways! We lost the light while rushing to a friends place and the wind was blowing a gale but we still managed a few quick snaps and some very amusing bloopers I may share one day.

While it's not the easiest piece to wear (people will look at you oddly in the supermarket) I get plenty of compliments and not just from under 30's! The material is a thick stain that keeps it's shape and feels oh so luxurious. Once again it conjures dreams of owning a Tibi skirt a la Blair from Atlantic Pacific (I warned you I was obsessed). The other great news is it comes in 12 colours! Choies has since released this amazing skirt in a rainbow of shades and I think I might need them all ;)

  5. I don't know about other people but I love your midi skirt. And about people looking at you, well, when I had a fashion internship two years ago while in a dinner with my boss and other intern I shared that I get "looks" in college because of what I wear and she told me that "it is good that people looking at you" it's good to be different and they just look because they have no guts to wear it :))

  6. I can see why you are so pleased with this skit! I loved how you toned down the drama of the skirt with that simple striped tee. Really clever styling.
