Sometimes when I'm working hard I find I go into "Fashion Panic". It sounds ridiculous, but I start feeling like I'm missing all these amazing trends, outfits or shopping opportunities all of a sudden. A good dose of LookBook browsing, a Tumblr trawl or a WhoWhatWear.com update usually calms me down. Of course this starts the ideas forming in my mind about what I will wear next, so I thought I'd start sharing some of my inspiration. Because who doesn't love pretty outfits and seeing the girls that are doing it right!

Welcome to my Wardrobe

Here is a little sneak peek at some of the new additions to my wardrobe. I went on a very belated birthday shopping spree while I was in Brisbane and picked up lots of goodies! The rose gold and white watch is my new favourite item of jewellery by far. After I got home I noticed they were all 'bottoms', another shopping spree for tops is needed I think!

Casual Lady

Shirt: Ebay, Skirt: Target (no longer available), Necklace: Lovisa, Shoes: Payless Shoes

I could not be happier with my new baseball shirt! Let's be honest, Ebay can be a hit and miss, but this shirt is comfortable, soft material and fits nicely. I mentioned it previously on my blog so grab one now! They come in loads of colours, I'm thinking about getting a burgendy one too and starting a collection. The acid wash skirt from Target is one of my favourite skirts despite it being neither vintage nor expensive. I am a sucker for denim, but when it's acid wash, stand back! I think it's really easy to wear and just a bit more interesting than regular old denim shorts.
Also, if you don't own a pair of these wedges then do so now! They've been around for ages now, and while they're not spectacular or eye catching, they are very comfortable if you don't want to wear flats, have a great sole on them and go with everything.
One accessory I always wish I could leave the house with is my naughty, Burmese cat, Xander. I'll leave you guys with a picture of the prince of our household and the reason I'm always cleaning cat hair off my clothes!

Coloured Leather

Coloured Leather

Coloured leather is such a chic trend. I think it's super easy for anyone to wear, you can match it with clashing colours or use it to add some pop to a jeans and t-shirt outfit. Ox-Blood is a huge favourite amongst fashionistas  right now and I can see why, it's bold yet so simple. There is a style and colour to suit everyone. I personally am obsessed with the coloured skirts, as leather pants are a tough nut to crack unless you're a rock star. Of course, if you can't afford real leather, PU is just as good, and I've noticed the faux leather often has more colour choices.
Now I've just got to decide what colour I want in a skirt....Hmmm....

Joining the Rat Race

Blazer: Vintage, Blouse: H&M, Skirt: Vintage, Heels: Ebay

Next week I start my new job in the city and I am extremely excited! I know most people wouldn't say that about work but after travelling for a couple years I feel like I've been cooling my feet since uni and I am ready to join the rat race!
The navy blazer is another of my favourite vintage finds, it just fits so well (oversized is 'well' in my dictionary) and it's the perfect length. I probably won't be braving a leather skirt at work but I've been having such a great time experimenting with different looks and styles the last week. It's amazing how much 'work wear' you will find in your cupboard when you think outside the box! I own a lot of vintage clothing but when worked back with this fantastic H&M blouse I picked up overseas you will be suprised how much class you can inject in an otherwise casual wardrobe.
The shirt from H&M was one of my must have/ but I am on a budget travelling decisions. I had to have it and I am so happy I didn't walk away! I adore the mirror print trend and I just love the colours in it. As I don't usually wear too much colour it's the perfect pop, especially with a fun high ponytail, it's impossible to frown!
